Protoboard easily

I really like Manhattan style prototyping. It is so easy, and useful in case of simple circuits. Today I wanted to build some test circuits when I realized there was no glue to stick the tiny pieces on to the big pcb. XMAS of course, no way to buy anything from the nearest DIY shop...

I had to do it different way.

The solution:
a drill bit, few minutes, and a tiny file.

Here it is...

It doesn't look good, but does the job.
The tip on the middle is only for holding the drill in the centre, while side blades cut the ring shape into the copper.

Pads are well isolated from the other part of the board. One can connect the parts soldering jumping wires to pads.

Give it a try!
